Message	to a customer. Fiberglass is an inexpensive material to use, lightweight, and works well in the application. When they are installed, you dont see the outer side of the duct where all of the FG strands are, but rather, the inside of the duct is smooth as glass, which is where the air flows through and what one would see if they peek into the inlets.
